| Initial assessment will be completed by Licensed Practical Nurse and will include: monitoring of vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, temperature, respirations) and full skin assessment. Home assessment will be completed to ensure safety precautions are in place to protect both client and nurse. Will assess cleanliness of environment and inspect quality and quantity of food supply in home. Payments & Schedule:
Payment for services can be arranged with the Care Provider and Client and/or Clients family. Typically, payments are made weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, depending on frequency of services. Payments accepted are cash, e-transfer, cheque, and in specific situations, direct billing with Medavie Blue Cross, Department of Veterans Affairs or Veterans Independence Program.
